Astronauts

Astronauts are highly trained individuals who travel into space to conduct scientific research, exploration, and various activities beyond the Earth's atmosphere. They are equipped with specialized knowledge in fields such as engineering, biology, or physical science, and undergo rigorous training to prepare for the physical and psychological challenges of space travel. Astronauts may work on missions that involve tasks such as operating spacecraft, conducting experiments, performing spacewalks, and building or maintaining structures in space, like the International Space Station (ISS). Their work contributes to our understanding of space and helps advance technology and science on Earth.
